Dr. Svara will speak on the Legacy of Professional Local Government Management.
Noon – 1:45 p.m. - Luncheon highlighting the most integral part of the NIU MPA program, the Internship experience
Lunch Keynote Speaker: Laura Huffman
Ms. Huffman will speak on how a high quality MPA program prepares students for public service.
2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Afternoon Colloquium
The afternoon session will feature the topic of “Budgeting for Local Government and NGOs during Economic Recession/ Fiscal Stress”
